Upwards Basketball
In collaboration with the Alliance for Warren Evangelicals and Warren Hope, 48089Rising proudly supported the Winter 2024 season of Upward Basketball at the Owen Jax Center. This league offered eight weeks of basketball for elementary-aged students, providing not only athletic development but also spiritual growth opportunities. Upward Sports, a nationally recognized organization, utilizes the platform of sports to spread the message of the gospel and foster discipleship.
Throughout the winter and spring, this program positively impacted the lives of 120 students, providing them with both physical activity and valuable life lessons. We hope to offer more Upward Sports programs going forward!
LifeWise
We are starting the process to bring LifeWise to Van Dyke Public Schools. LifeWise provides Biblical education to public school students through release time programming. The first step is gathering signatures from the local community.
